Stone veneer, Tan Brown, 122x61 cm

Introducing stone veneer in a beige-brown hue - a unique natural material created by combining the beauty of nature with a simple technical process. As a result, this tile offers extreme lightness and an original look to each piece. This stone veneer is made from real slate using special technology, which gives it not only an attractive colour shade but also great properties.

With a thickness of only 1-3 mm, it is an extra light and flexible type of tile with a really wide range of applications. Stone veneer in a beige-brown tint can be easily installed in any interior or exterior - just use an MS polymer-based adhesive. It is perfect for lining walls, bathrooms, shower enclosures, staircases, but also facades, skirting boards, rolling gates, plasterboard cores or old tiles.

The veneer can be glued to almost any solid substrate, the only difference during installation is the choice of the appropriate adhesive for the specific material.

What is stone veneer and why is it so special?

A stone veneer is a thin sheet of natural stone (1-3 mm) created by a precise technology that allows the authentic layer of solid stones such as slate, marble or sandstone to be cut away. This layer is then firmly bonded to a resin and fibreglass backing to create a lightweight, flexible material that retains all the unique aesthetic qualities of natural stone - from texture to colour.

How to glue stone veneer

  1. Acclimatization of the tile: Before installation, place the cladding in the room where it will be installed for 24 hours to acclimatise. Temperatures between 15 and 25 °C are recommended for outdoor bonding.
  2. Preparation of the substrate: Clean the substrate thoroughly - it must not be greasy, wet or dirty.
  3. Dimensional adjustment: use a diamond blade circular saw or an oscillating saw for adjustments. Wear protective equipment, especially goggles. If necessary, adjust the edges with a file or sandpaper in the direction of the cut.
  4. Impregnation: after gluing, we recommend impregnating the tile (especially in the exterior or in places with increased humidity), which will prolong its life and prevent the formation of mould or other undesirable phenomena.
