Kund Black (Black Slate) stone veneer is made from real slate and, with a thickness of only 1-3 mm, is an extremely light, flexible and durable cladding with a wide range of applications.

     

    This modern material is the ideal choice for interior and exterior cladding. It is easy to install on walls, in bathrooms, shower cubicles, staircases, facades, plinths, pedestrian gates, umacrete cores or old tiles. You can glue the stone veneer to almost any solid substrate - just choose the right adhesive for the surface type.

    Acclimatization

    Before installation, leave the stone veneer for at least 24 hours in the room where it will be installed. The ideal temperature is 15–25 °C. This allows the material to adapt to the environment and prevents tension.

    Adhesive

    Use Den Braven DUO FLEX L8600 flexible adhesive. Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate (and, if necessary, to the back of the veneer) using a notched trowel.

    Bonding

    Place the veneer in position and press it evenly over the entire surface. Proceed from the center toward the edges to prevent air bubbles from forming. If necessary, gently adjust the position.

    Curing and finishing

    Allow the adhesive to cure for approximately 12–24 hours. You can then finish the joints with silicone or another suitable sealant, depending on the type of application.

    Yes. Stone veneer can easily be cut or trimmed depending on the type of cut. For straight cuts, we recommend an angle grinder with a diamond blade; for minor adjustments, you can use sharp scissors or a snap-off knife. The material is thin and easy to work with.

    Is stone veneer suitable for bathrooms?

    Yes, stone veneer is suitable for bathrooms and damp areas. However, we recommend using a high-quality adhesive and impregnating the surface after installation to ensure long-term protection against moisture and easy maintenance.

    Can stone veneer be used outdoors?

    Yes, stone veneer can also be used outdoors, ideally on protected areas (facades, plinths, entrances). For outdoor use, it is necessary to use a suitable flexible adhesive, a properly prepared substrate, and protective impregnation, which will extend the material's service life.

    How is stone veneer maintained?

    Maintenance is very simple. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth or a mild cleaning product without aggressive chemicals. With proper impregnation, stone veneer is resistant to dirt and retains its natural appearance for many years.

    Kamenná dýha K Black mě opravdu nadchla – má krásný, elegantní vzhled a působí velmi luxusně. Oceňuji, jak snadno se s ní pracuje, přitom výsledek vypadá jako pravý masivní kámen. Skvěle se hodí do moderního interiéru a vytváří efektní kontrast s ostatními materiály. Určitě bych ji doporučil každému, kdo hledá originální a designové řešení.

    Dobry den, na fotkach mate bridlici pouzitou jako obklad kamen, ale v popisu je uvedeno max 50 stupnu celsia, co tedy plati? Ja bych chtel obklad pouzit okolo kamen do sauny, kde teplota je i 100 stupnu a vlhkost i 85%. Lepit primo na dreveny obklad. Prosim doporucite mi take impregnaci alepidlo?
