    Introducing stone veneer in a black finish - a unique natural material created by combining the beauty of nature with a simple technical process. Thanks to this, this tiling offers extreme lightness and an original look to each piece. The veneer is made from real translucent slate using a special technology that ensures not only strength but also a unique property: translucency.

     

    With a thickness of only 1-3 mm, it is an extremely light and flexible cladding with a wide range of applications. The translucent slate is treated to transmit light, allowing attractive applications on walls, ceilings or even furniture. Light passing through the material creates unique effects and transforms the atmosphere of any space.

     

    The stone veneer can be installed in any interior or exterior space using an MS polymer based adhesive. It is ideal for cladding walls, bathrooms, shower cubicles, staircases, but also facades, skirting boards, rolling gates, plasterboard cores or old tiles. The veneer can be glued to almost any solid substrate - the only difference is the choice of the right adhesive for the specific material.

Thanks to its flexibility and low thickness, it is ideal for wall cladding, furniture, and design elements in both interiors and exteriors.     This is a natural stone product. The dimensions of individual pieces may vary by approximately ±1–2 mm. The colour, texture and pattern of the stone may naturally vary from piece to piece. These natural differences give the stone veneer an authentic and unique appearance.

    How to glue stone veneer

    Acclimatization

    Before installation, leave the stone veneer in the room where it will be installed for at least 24 hours. The ideal temperature is 15–25 °C. This allows the material to adapt to the environment and prevents tension.

    Adhesive

    Use Den Braven DUO FLEX L8600 flexible adhesive. Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate (and, if necessary, to the back of the veneer) using a notched trowel.

    Bonding

    Place the veneer in position and press it evenly over the entire surface. Work from the centre towards the edges to prevent air bubbles from forming. If necessary, make slight adjustments.

    Curing and finishing

    Allow the adhesive to cure for approximately 12–24 hours. You can then finish the joints with silicone or another suitable sealant depending on the type of application.

    Yes. Stone veneer can easily be cut or trimmed depending on the type of cut. For straight cuts, we recommend an angle grinder with a diamond blade; for minor adjustments, you can use sharp scissors or a utility knife. The material is thin and easy to work with.

    Is stone veneer suitable for bathrooms?

    Yes, stone veneer is suitable for bathrooms and damp areas. However, we recommend using high-quality adhesive and impregnating the surface after installation to ensure long-term protection against moisture and easy maintenance.

    Can stone veneer be used outdoors?

    Yes, stone veneer can also be used outdoors, ideally on protected areas (facades, plinths, entrances). For outdoor use, it is necessary to use suitable flexible adhesive, a properly prepared substrate, and protective impregnation, which will extend the material’s service life.

    How is stone veneer maintained?

    Maintenance is very simple. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth or a mild cleaning product without harsh chemicals. With proper impregnation, stone veneer is resistant to dirt and retains its natural appearance for many years.
