    Introducing Pietra Dark stone veneer (black marble) - an exceptional natural material that is created by combining the beauty of nature and a simple technical process. Thanks to this, this tiling offers extreme lightness and unique originality of each individual piece. Pietra Dark stone veneer is made from real marble using a special technology that gives it a luxurious look and unique properties.

     

    With a thickness of only 1-3 mm, it is an extra light and flexible type of tile with a truly wide range of applications. This material is ideal for installation in any interior or exterior - just use an MS polymer based adhesive. It is perfectly suited for wall cladding, bathrooms, shower cubicles, staircases, but also facades, skirting boards, rolling gates, plasterboard cores or old tiles.

     

    Stone veneers can be bonded to almost any solid substrate, the only difference in installation being the choice of the appropriate adhesive for the specific material.

Thanks to its flexibility and low thickness, it is ideal for wall, furniture and design-feature cladding in both interiors and exteriors.     How to glue stone veneer

    Acclimatization

    Before installation, leave the stone veneer in the room where it will be installed for at least 24 hours. The ideal temperature is 15–25 °C. This allows the material to adjust to the environment and prevents tension.

    Adhesive

    Use Den Braven DUO FLEX L8600 flexible adhesive. Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate (and, if necessary, to the back of the veneer) using a notched trowel.

    Bonding

    Place the veneer in position and press it evenly across the entire surface. Work from the center toward the edges to prevent air bubbles from forming. If necessary, make minor adjustments.

    Curing and finishing

    Allow the adhesive to cure for approximately 12–24 hours. You can then finish the joints with silicone or another suitable sealant according to the type of application.

    Yes. Stone veneer can be easily cut or trimmed depending on the type of cut. For straight cuts, we recommend an angle grinder with a diamond blade; for minor adjustments, you can use sharp scissors or a utility knife. The material is thin and easy to work with.

    Is stone veneer suitable for bathrooms?

    Yes, stone veneer is suitable for bathrooms and damp areas. However, we recommend using a high-quality adhesive and impregnating the surface after installation to ensure long-term protection against moisture and easy maintenance.

    Can stone veneer be used outdoors?

    Yes, stone veneer can also be used outdoors, ideally on protected surfaces (facades, plinths, entrances). For outdoor use, it is necessary to use a suitable flexible adhesive, a properly prepared substrate and protective impregnation, which will extend the material's service life.

    How is stone veneer maintained?

    Maintenance is very simple. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth or a mild cleaning product without aggressive chemicals. With proper impregnation, stone veneer is resistant to dirt and retains its natural appearance for many years.
