    Introducing stone veneer in a black annealed finish - a natural material that combines the beauty of nature with a simple technical process. As a result, this tile offers extreme lightness and complete uniqueness to each piece. Stone veneer in black annealed decor is made from real slate using a special technology that gives it not only a unique look but also exceptional properties.

     

    With a thickness of only 1-3 mm, it is an extra light and flexible tile with a truly wide range of applications. You can install the stone veneer in any interior or exterior with ease, just use an MS polymer-based adhesive. It is ideal for lining walls, bathrooms, shower cubicles, staircases, but also facades, skirting boards, rolling gates, plasterboard cores or old tiles.

     

    The veneer can be bonded to almost any solid substrate, the only difference being the choice of the appropriate adhesive for the specific material.

    This is a natural stone product. The dimensions of individual pieces may vary by approximately ±1–2 mm. The colour, texture and pattern of the stone may naturally vary from piece to piece. These natural differences give the stone veneer an authentic and unique appearance.

    How to bond stone veneer

    Acclimatization

    Before installation, leave the stone veneer in the room where it will be installed for at least 24 hours. The ideal temperature is 15–25 °C. This allows the material to adapt to the environment and prevents tension.

    Adhesive

    Use Den Braven DUO FLEX L8600 flexible adhesive. Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate (and, if necessary, to the back of the veneer) using a notched trowel.

    Bonding

    Place the veneer in position and press it evenly over the entire surface. Work from the centre towards the edges to prevent air bubbles from forming. If necessary, make slight adjustments.

    Curing and finishing

    Allow the adhesive to cure for approximately 12–24 hours. You can then finish the joints with silicone or another suitable sealant, depending on the type of application.

    Yes. Stone veneer can easily be cut or trimmed depending on the type of cut. For straight cuts, we recommend an angle grinder with a diamond blade; for minor adjustments, you can use sharp scissors or a utility knife. The material is thin and easy to work with.

    Is stone veneer suitable for bathrooms?

    Yes, stone veneer is suitable for bathrooms and damp areas. However, we recommend using high-quality adhesive and impregnating the surface after installation to ensure long-term protection against moisture and easy maintenance.

    Can stone veneer be used outdoors?

    Yes, stone veneer can also be used outdoors, ideally on protected surfaces (facades, plinths, entrances). For outdoor use, it is necessary to use a suitable flexible adhesive, a properly prepared substrate and protective impregnation, which will extend the service life of the material.

    How is stone veneer maintained?

    Maintenance is very easy. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth or a mild cleaning product without aggressive chemicals. With proper impregnation, stone veneer is resistant to dirt and retains its natural appearance for many years.
